Thank you Lori Now and Beth Miller from the Auglaize County Extension Agency! The third graders learned a great deal about germs after the Glo-Germ activity! Germs are microscopic and they are everywhere! After sneezing germs can travel 17 feet! We need to wash our hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds!

A great deal of brainstorming and conversation went into the process of designing and building a gingerbread house by these third graders! Not only did they have fun, but they enjoyed eating their edible piece of work! Winning the competition for Originality, Craftmanship, Use of Color, and Theme was the team of Benjamin Hirschfeld, Jordan Smith, Ty Henschen, Emelia Jones, and Sam Lammers. They titled their house, Santa's Workshop.
